Maclean High School Year 11 (2024) Subject selection evening

On the evening of Tuesday, the 1^st of August 2023, Year 10 students and their parents and carers are encouraged to attend a special evening to discuss the senior years, Years 11 and 12. The night is to assist students and their families to become familiar with the patterns and subject choices that are available to students.

A general overall picture of the structure and rules and regulations of the HSC will be discussed and there will be teachers available from the different faculties to answer your questions regarding subject choice. We will also have our Careers Adviser present who will be able to discuss other options such as TAFE and School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT), which can be selected whilst still at school.

The presentation will begin at 6.00pm in the school library. The duration of presentation will roughly go for an hour and tea and coffee will be available on the night.
