World's Greatest Shave

Students haveing their heads shaved

A small number of dedicated MHS students shaved their heads for the World's Greatest Shave on Friday 18th March. Congratulations to Troy McFarlane, Patrick Moore and Katherine Moore.

 

The SRC also organised a “Crazy Hair Day” encouraging students to show off their craziest hairstyles and ran a hair ‘colouring’ station with washout coloured hair spray during the shave on the day.

Thank you to all the generous MHS staff and students who donated. Over $335 was raised at school on the day for the Leukaemia Foundation. The donation will contribute to providing vital support and care for the growing number of Australians impacted by blood cancer and stand in solidarity with the 110,000 fellow Aussies currently living with the disease.
