Jindabyne excursion 2020

Dear Parents/Caregivers

I would like to give you a brief update on the proposed excursion to Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Camp in Term 3.

After phone and email contact with the Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Camp Management, I have been informed that the camp will remain closed until 31^st of May, 2020.  Roisin Molloy, the manager, will be in contact as soon as any decision has been made regarding a re-opening of the facility.

At this stage Maclean High School will continue to plan for the trip to take place from August 1^st to August 8^th 2020 and payment towards the camp can still be taken via telephone (66452244) or online through the Maclean High School Web site.

We are awaiting confirmation from the Department of Education for permission to conduct overnight excursions before a final decision can be made, therefore, if the excursion is unable to run, all payments that have been made will be refunded.

If your circumstances have changed and the cost of the trip has become a burden, then could you please contact the school to arrange for a refund. We will need accurate numbers by the end of May should the NSW Health and Education Departments relax the restrictions currently in place to control “Covid 19.”
