On Saturday, in the Daily Telegraph, a feature was run on the country's best teachers. Our winning candidate, talented musician, Anthony Mitchell has inspired a dramatic increase in the number of students studying music at Maclean High School, since he started here three years ago.
We all know what outstanding work that Anthony does for our students and community. His tireless dedication to music and promoting the creative arts translates to fantastic outcomes for our kids. He goes above and beyond to find new opportunities for his students to compete in local and state events and last year his HSC Music class achieved four Band 6s and two nominations in ENCORE, the state's musical showcase.
Well done Anthony! We all greatly value your contribution to MHS and Public Education!
